Continental Logistics Shares the Love of the Season with “Operation Sleigh Bells”

Continental Logistics provide Logistics Management for Food and BeverageThe holiday season is something the Continental Logistics family enjoys sharing with one another but this season we’re sharing it with even more purpose than in the past!

As of November 29th, Continental Logistics began taking part in “Operation Sleigh Bells” through Family & Children’s Service. Based in Long Branch, NJ, Family & Children’s Service is Monmouth County’s oldest non-profit charitable organization serving families and children in need for 105 years.

Their “Operation Sleigh Bells” began in 1909 and is FCS signature program. This program allows company’s such as ours to host a collection drive within the workplace by placing tags upon the office Christmas tree. Tags provided by FCS outlined either a boy or girl first name and age along with a written “need” and two “wants” as gift item ideas.

This year the Continental Logistics team asked FCS for 30 children’s name tags and we’re proud to report that 30 children tags were taken! This was a collective effort by members of Continental Logistics as well as various other members of Port Jersey Logistics and Tyler Distribution.

We’re very proud of our team and even more proud of their willingness to give back to those in need at this special time of year!

Happy Holidays!
